How to register
To register for Prion 2026, please create a personal account on the conference website.
- 1 Go to the registration page
- 2 Complete the registration form with your personal information
- 3 Select your account type*
- 4 Confirm your email address, if required
- 5 Receive further instructions regarding payment and participation
Each participant must create their own personal account. Please use a valid email address for all communications.
Abstract submission
After creating your account and logging in, eligible
participants can submit their research through the personal dashboard.
- Log in to your account
- Open the “Add Abstracts” tab in your profile dashboard
- Select “Yes” to submit an abstract
- Complete all required fields and select the topic
- Review carefully and submit for review
Once submitted, your abstract will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee. Check your status in your profile anytime.
*Account type descriptions
Industry delegate
Participants representing companies, commercial organizations, or industry partners with an interest in prion and other neurodegenerative diseases, diagnostics, therapeutics, or related fields.
Invited Speaker
Participants who have been formally invited by the Organizing Committee to deliver a lecture or presentation as part of the scientific program.
Postdoc
Researchers holding a doctoral degree and currently engaged in postdoctoral research training.
Principal Investigator
Independent research group leaders responsible for directing a research program and supervising scientific personnel.
Researcher
Scientists engaged in research activities who do not fall under the categories of Student, Postdoc, or Principal Investigator.
Scientific Coordinator
Participants who have been formally invited by the Organizing Committee to coordinate, manage, or support scientific, organizational, or program-related activities for the conference.
Session Chair
Participants who have been formally invited by the Organizing Committee to moderate and oversee a scientific session during the conference.
Student
Undergraduate, Master’s, or PhD students currently enrolled in an academic institution.
Non-presenting participant
This registration category is reserved for members and affiliates of foundations, patient advocacy organizations, and other partner associations. It is not intended for researchers, students, postdoctoral fellows, principal investigators, or industry delegates, who should register under their corresponding professional category, regardless of whether they are submitting an abstract. Please note that the number of registrations in this category is limited.

Abstract submission is available only for registered users and must be completed by September 10, 2026.
Late and on-site registrations do not include abstract submission eligibility.

Full refund, less a €20.00 administrative fee.
By august 10
50% refund, less a €20.00 administrative fee.
